THE Stimulation Centre at the Hamlet Foundation is proud to introduce Jeanette Fourie as the new manager for this section.
The centre, at 158 North Road, in Regents Park, serves as a refuge for old and frail adults, who are given individual and undivided attention.
Jeanette does many activities with the adults and even the very low functioning people now respond to her.
“Everybody has a special gift and we, at The Hamlet Foundation, are proud witnesses to the display of love and affection at the centre.
” It is also proof and inspiration to everyone that disability doesn’t mean inability. With a strength-based approach, the centre empowers others,” Jeanette said.
