MOFFATVIEW and Booysens SAPS have opened a new 24-hour police contact point in Main Street, Kenilworth, to ensure faster police response.
The purpose of the contact point is to improve reaction time should an emergency arise in the areas of Turffontein, Kenilworth, Forest Hill and Rosettenville.
Two captains will be on duty, working flexi-hours determined by the crime pattern analyses. Capt Reginald Zulu can be contacted on 078 965 4518 and Capt Masenyani Mathebula can be contacted on 073 577 5824.
Locals should also note that the contact point will also be used by other role players such neighbourhood watch, CPF and JMPD and that the contact point does not yet have telephones.
All criminal matters should be reported at Booysens or Moffatview Police Station as usual.
