These are the crimes and the numbers of suspects: common assault – five, assault with grievous bodily harm – three, arson – one, business-breaking and theft – seven, common robbery – two, crimen injuria – one, dealing in liquor without a licence – five, fraud – one, illegal immigrant – 25, malicious damage to property – seven, possession of dagga – 12, possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle – one, possession of house-breaking implements – two, possession of hijacked truck – two, public violence – one, driving motor vehicle without licence – one, reckless and negligent driving – one, shoplifting – one, contravening Section 48 of the Gauteng Gambling Act – one, and theft – six.
