Learning about Efekto products

“All our protection products contain a pamphlet listing the exact dosage required to control the pest, weed or disease in question,” he added.

MEMBERS of Johannesburg South Garden Club enjoyed a talk by Ludwig Schaffner at a recent meeting, where he spoke about Efekto products that keep plants healthy and immune from damage caused by diseases and pests.

“At Efekto we pride ourselves on helping gardeners to create beautiful and balanced gardens by using our company’s range of insecticides, fetilisers, herbicides and fungicides, and helping them to choose the correct products,” said Ludwig.

“All our protection products contain a pamphlet listing the exact dosage required to control the pest, weed or disease in question,” he added.

He advised all protection products to be stored away from food, out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals and in a well-ventilated storage place. “Store protection products in original containers with pamphlets enclosed and never re-use the containers for any other purpose. If you spill when mixing sprays, clean up the spillages as quickly as possible to prevent possible contamination. Try not to inhale the mixtures and spray any excessive mixture out onto the plants, never pour down the drain. Also clean spraying equipment directly after use.”

Questions were asked by some of the members, especially about the safety aspect of the products and how they could affect insects and bees. “Always read the pamphlets enclosed in our products, before using them,” advised Ludwig.
