WATCH: United we stand – Zuma must fall

“South Africa needs a president who is just and fair, not a crook, who takes everything for himself,” said one resident. “It’s time the peoples’ voices of South Africa are heard, loud and clear - Zuma out,” added another.

 

A MESSAGE was sent loud and clear from residents of the South who gathered on the Aspen Bridge, over Kliprivier Drive, Liefde en Vrede, on Friday morning, April 7.

WE WANT TO SEE A GREAT SOUTH AFRICA: Candice Andreka, Elaine Brandao, Colleen and Paul Andreka.

As early as 06:00, residents began to gather in protest against Jacob Zuma, saying they wanted him fired with immediate effect.

“South Africa needs a president who is just and fair, not a crook, who takes everything for himself,” said one resident. “It’s time the peoples’ voices of South Africa are heard, loud and clear – Zuma out,” added another.

As more people arrived from 06:40, the human chain across the bridge had been formed. Organiser Gill Westhuizen said, “I thought we’d be lucky to get about 20 people but this is fantastic.”

More and more residents arrived, to protest peacefully, making a statement that Zuma must Fall!

The marchers gathered again at 4pm at the Aspen Hill bridge.
