Figures holds first international convention
The convention proved to be one that will never be forgotten. Figures expects great things for next year’s convention.
FOR the first time Figures Models Finesse South Africa held the first International Model and Talent Association (IMTA) convention in South Africa, bringing international agents to South African soil for a four-day convention where our model and talent artists got the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of Whilhelmina Models New York.

RUNWAY FIRST RUNNER-UP: Tiffany Francis received four first runner-ups and two honourable mentions in her competitions. She received four international callbacks.
The convention proved to be one that will never be forgotten, and by now should be a strong talking point among many models and artists as they look forward to the next convention to be held in 2018. Figures expects great things for next year’s convention.
MOST INTERNATIONAL CALLBACKS: Well done to Simonne Esteves.
Figures Glenvista had huge success at the IMTA, and sent through 12 combined artists and models who all received positive feedback from the international agents. When asked to comment on their experience over the four days, they all said that it was an opportunity of a lifetime. The mere fact that they were introduced directly to international agents and received workshops on how to achieve and succeed in their dream careers, was a dream come true.
Kiara Molokomme received three international callbacks, was second runner-up in TV Beauty and achieved an honourable mention in her swimwear competitions.
Agents who were part of the convention were among the top names in the industry and loved every minute of their time spent in South Africa, including that spent with Figures Models Finesse South Africa.
LITTLE STAR: Peyton Margro was second runner-up overall in the Junior Division, overall winner in swimwear and received three international callbacks. She will also be attending the IMTA New York Convention in July.
Figures Models Finesse South Africa have sponsored four of the winners with an all-expenses paid trip to attend and compete at the IMTA convention in New York this July.
RUNWAY WINNER: Jasmin Badenhorst, the second runner-up, achieved the most callbacks and was the fashion print winner.
