AT the June Domestic Watch meeting, Martin Barber, from SOS Protec Sure security specialists, spoke about the importance of not buying stolen goods.
“If you buy stolen goods you are just as guilty as the criminal who stole the goods. You too could run the risk of being arrested, and sentenced to a time in jail.”
He added: “If you are offered the chance to purchase cheap goods and you have a suspicion they could be stolen, report the matter to your local police station or contact Michelle Pelser, coordinator of Domestic Watch and a Mondeor Sector Two Community Policing Forum member, who will assist you. Don’t become a part of crime.”
