CPF patrollers honoured
Moffatview Sector Two and Glenanda North patrollers were honoured at the awards held on November 3 at the St Francis of Assisi Anglican Church in Meyersdal, Alberton.
THE Glenanda North Residents Association (GNRA) executive committee held its first awards ceremony for its community policing forum (CPF) patrollers.
Moffat View Sector Two and Glenanda North patrollers were honoured at the awards held on Friday, November 3, at the St Francis of Assisi Anglican Church in Meyersdal, Alberton.

GNRA chairman Segie Pillay thanked the sponsors of the GNRA, executives, members and the CPF teams and their families.
“The GNRA was only established at the beginning of this year and the teams have come far in assisting with traffic control and combating drugs in the area. We focused on addressing infrastructure, service delivery, land and security issues in the community. We represent the community and stand as an independent organisation,” said Pillay.

CPF and GNRA members and patrollers were awarded two certificates on behalf of both the CPF and the GNRA.
Members and their families came together in fellowship around a table and enjoyed a meal, some wine and dessert.
