Aunty Clares crèche table extravaganza

“It made them feel like they were attending their matric dance.”

AUNTY Clares Crèche and Aftercare in the south held its graduation for its grade Rs on November 25.

Once a year the crèche has a dinner and dance allowing parents to pick a theme for the children. After picking a theme, the parents are then challenged to decorate the table in that chosen theme.

COOL: The Pink Panther table was also a draw card for all.

Owner Clare van Zyl said every year’s challenge to the parents brings great excitement to the little ones.

“It makes the learners feel like they were attending their matric dance.

LIGHT IT UP: The green lantern table makes for a festive setting.

“We at Aunty Clare’s take a lot of pride in this event and our parents enjoy the planning and decorating of the tables,” she said.

Table decorations differed from wall to wall with themes ranging from the Great Gatsby to everyone’s favourite, Minions and at the ocean.

HOLIDAY: The ocean basket like table sure set the holiday mood.
BANANA: Festive at an all banana themed table.
GREEN: A forest table setting in green and white.
RETRO: All colourful and ready to welcome the little ones.
PARTY TIME: The Great Gatsby table looked all festive.
PINK: Another forest table setting, this time in pink and white all set for a fairy tale experience.
