Learners learn more on World Head Injury Awareness Day

The purpose of this day is to remind the people how they could reduce accidents and brain injuries.

FOREST Hill Primary learners had an opportunity to meet the paramedics from Netcare Mulbarton on March 27 and were taught how to prevent head injuries, and shown CPR demonstrations and hand hygiene.

Priscilla Yerriah, unit manager Netcare Mulbarton emergency department, said this is in line with World Head Injury Awareness Day, which was on March 20.
