Children get Easter eggs for festive cheer

Easter eggs were handed to some of the children who reside in Rosettenville and La Rochelle.

THE Southern Community in Action (SCIA) donated Easter eggs to make it a special Easter Holidays for children living in the South.

On March 30, Clr Michael Crichton was joined by the SCIA, Sector 1 CPF patrollers and ward committee members Natasha Holdane Stevenson and Anand Rangasamy to hand out Easter eggs to some of the children who reside in Rosettenville and La Rochelle.

“On that same day, we also visited and donated Easter eggs to the David House and St Mary’s Children Home, as well as the Camilla House Retirement Home. I am extremely happy that we as community members were able to make other people happy during this Easter Holidays. A big thank you goes out to the SCIA for their generous donation of Easter eggs, which assisted in making it a special day.

“I would also like to thank the Sector 1 CPF patrollers who also assisted with donations and assisting with the handing out of the Easter eggs, as well as my ward committee members who participated. The biggest joy was seeing the children smiling. I hope that everyone enjoyed this special time with their loved ones this Easter and had a great holiday,” said Crichton.
