WATERSTONE College launched an anti-bullying drive this week with efforts to ensure bullying tendencies in schools come to an end.
The anti-bullying week is dedicated to raising awareness on the matter, as well as ensuring learners know the dire effects of bullying.
Pastor Taguta kick-started the anti-bullying week under the anti-bully tree in the intersen phase at the school while Vernon Rorich, the executive head of Waterstone College, addressed the high school learners with a reference to the story of David and Goliath, as well as the consequences that may come with bullying other children.
The school has called on parents to join them in the awareness programme by ensuring their children come forward whenever they are bullied.
Waterstone College’s motivation to address bullying head-on is remarkable as bullying remains unacceptable within the community.
