These special days are absolutely not about buying or receiving presents only, but spending time together as a family is the best gift one can always look forward to.
FROM the day his daughters were born, he is set on a mission to ensure that he gives them the best life had to offer. His main focus was on education and its importance to the community and South Africa at large.
Mags Naii, owner of Battery Centre in Mulbarton, has always been a man of substance who believes education is the key to success and as a parent, he did all he could to secure the best education facilities were provided for his children.
“Growing up I always told my girls that being educated is the best empowerment tool they could use to conquer societal barriers; I am a proud father because they all listened and shaped their future with a strong educational foundation,” said Mags.
“As it is right now, out of my three daughters one has a management degree from Wits University and is married while the others are currently studying medical sciences at the University of Johannesburg.”
Mags believes education toppled with good family values helps in children’s successful transition into independent women, as well as open their minds to endless possibilities.
“Family values are also very important to me and I believe it’s good for families to acknowledge one another and with Father’s Day coming up I believe it’s only normal that we also need a day or two to be spoiled by our daughters or sons,” he said.
“However, these special days are absolutely not about buying or receiving presents only, but spending time together as a family is the best gift I always look forward to.”
Mags and his family usually go out for lunch or dinner each and every other Father’s or Mother’s Day with the day filled with a lot of family fun activities that are well planned to bring the family closer together.
He also wishes the best to all broken families as he believes they, like everyone else, deserve a pat on the back for being good parents.
“Over the years my daughters and family have been nothing but a blessing to me and I wish everyone else could get a shot at having a caring and loving family,” Mags added.
Today he smiles knowing that he successfully conquered the world by securing his daughters’ education, as well as promoting their positive contribution to the society.
