Father’s Day is celebrated on June 17 and the Chronicle took the time to speak with different people on their thoughts and plans for Father’s Day.

STACY MNASHE: “We have a daddy-daughter lunch at our church and that is where I will be going with my dad and sisters. I can’t wait, Father’s Day is going to be so much fun.”
LYNITA ARENDS: “Father’s Day is one of those special days when we get to spoil our dads, husbands and all father figures. There is always a good plan up the sleeves to ensure they have the best there is.”
RONEL TAWANA: “I love my dad so much and I also enjoy Father’s Day because I get to spend time with my dad. I have already started making him a lovely handmade card with nice hearts and flowers which I will give to him on Sunday, he will like it.”
ALISON ABRAHAMS: “Father’s Day is a very special day to celebrate fathers and husbands but I also feel like people should learn to celebrate each other regardless of the day. We should always appreciate all father figures.”
