AMANI Ahmed and Ishraq Seedat, learners from Al-Huda Academy in Robertsham, participated in the Gauteng Department of Educaation Cluster Level Maths Olympiad held at Forest Hill.
The school is proud to announce that Amani was placed first on cluster level and will now proceed to district level. Amani and Ishraq have excelled in the Natural Science Olympiad and have progressed to district level.
Shirin Osman, the principal, said: “Mathematics and sciences play an important role in today’s world.
“We would like to thank our educators Nafees Shahid and Zaakira Khan (mathematics) and Fatima Haniff (natural science) for the sterling work done. The board of directors and staff of Al-Huda Academy congratulate the learners for their achievement and wish them well at district level.”
