‘Embracing the woman within’ at breakfast for women

DEPAWA Connect, a public benefit organisation, recently celebrated Women’s Month with a breakfast in South Hills.

The theme for the morning was ‘Embracing the woman within’.

Depawa Connect is about empowering women in various stages of their lives, from teens to pensioners, through motivation, awareness and mentoring via networking, teaching, workshops and conferencing. Pam Adams from Depawa Connect said,“Empowerment is a process. Through the process, an individual becomes an agent of change.”

DEPAWA Connect is the passion of Wanda Brown, Debbie Pick and Pam Adams and the area concentrated on now is Ward 57, especially South Hills, Moffat View, Elandspark, Regents Park.
