Two women injured after gas explosion in Booysens
Two women who are believed to be in their 20s were left critically injured on September 27 following an alleged gas explosion at a mobile fast food container in Booysens.

TWO women who are believed to be in their 20s were left critically injured on September 27 following an alleged gas explosion at a mobile fast food container in Booysens.
According to ER24 paramedics, along with another service, they arrived on the scene at 9.47am to find the two women lying outside the container. It is understood the two women had been pulled from the containers by members of the public.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found both women had sustained numerous burn wounds and were in critical condition. The patients were treated for their injuries, provided with advanced life support interventions, and were thereafter transported to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital for further treatment.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
