Cracked walls concern residents of Cairngorm Court in Bellavista
Resident believe that without any assistance cracked walls will collapse on them one day.
RESIDENTS of Cairngorm Court in Bellavista live in fear as their units have cracked walls.
Residents claim that these cracks have been there since 2012. They have tried to reach out to the Ward 55 councillor Rashieda Landis for help but according to them, their concerns fall on deaf ears.
Cairngorm residents also claim that they experience leaking of toilets and unattended long grass.
Residents went on to say they sleep with one eye open as they believe that if the situation is not attended soon the court will collapse on them.
“We as residents of Cairngorm don’t get any service delivery. I personally had a problem with water leakage which I fixed myself. This court has lots of faults it needs to be repaired or people will get injured,” said one resident.
Residents further want the councillor to come to their aid as soon as possible.
“These problems have escalated ever since. The previous administration did not spend anything for the up-keeping of the units. I will have a public meeting soon addressing this situation,” said Landis.
