Murder suspect in the Booysens Magistrate’s Court on March 19.

A murder suspect who is accused of murdering a teenage girl, Silindile Kunene (18), has had his case postponed to March 19, after his second appearance in the Booysens Magistrate’s Court on March 12.

The first appearance was postponed because the suspect allegedly requested his lawyer to be present.

The suspect’s allegedly murdered Silindile and placed her in the spare room at Fever Tree Complex in South Hills on March 6. When the incident occurred, Silindile’s parents were not around. The suspect is responsible for maintenance at the complex. The second postponement is to allow the state to investigate if the suspect has previous criminal convictions.
