Family day with Ridgeway Neighbourhood Watch

“We will continue working closely with the Ridgeway Neighbourhood Watch and support them wherever we can,” added Goodenough.

IT was a fun-filled family day on April 14, as patrollers and security providers got together in Ridgeway for a braai and social event organised by the Ridgeway Neighbourhood Watch.

Linda Goodenough, community development manager Fidelity ADT, says it was the first time Fidelity ADT had been involved in this event and it was a super day.

“It was wonderful to see so many committed residents getting together to socialise and spread the word about safety. The food was delicious and the people were fantastic and so welcoming. We were very pleased to be involved.”

Along with thanking the other security companies involved in the day, Goodenough says a lovely message was shared on the group’s social media saying, ‘we want to extend thanks to Fidelity ADT for their candy floss machine and their awesome staff who served the masses.’ “The candyfloss was definitely a hit with the little ones,” she says.

The Ridgeway Neighbourhood Watch is a close-knit group of community members and consists of about 150 patrollers who patrol the neighbourhood.

“We will continue working closely with the Ridgeway Neighbourhood Watch and support them wherever we can,” added Goodenough.

TASTY: Braaing up a storm for all the hungry community members.
