Burst water pipe concerns resident of Glenanda North
“The water had been gushing out of the meter for the whole night. This is such a waste of water."
A RESIDENT of Beryl Avenue, Glenanda North, reported a burst water meter outside his property on April 29, which was only attended to over 24 hours later.
“The water had been gushing out of the meter for the whole night. This is such a waste of water and we are always being told to save water! I did report it to my ward councillor, Michael Crichton, who said he escalated the problem to be attended to,” said the resident.
Eventually, on Tuesday morning a team came out to fix the burst pipe.
