Suspect sentenced to two years in prison for theft

Booysens SAPS is happy to see suspect receive prison sentence.

A MAN recently received two years’ direct imprisonment for theft and was found unfit to possess a firearm.

According to Booysens SAPS, on April 13, 2016, the victim parked his vehicle at his home in Turffontein. He made certain his car and windows were locked. The next morning he noticed both padlocks of the gate were broken. He quickly went to check for his toolbox in the vehicle, which also contained a stepladder and cylinder head, but none of these items were there.

Sgt Sifiso Ndlovu investigated the matter and apprehended the suspect.
