SANCA Rosettenville tackles social issues

The topic of discussion was absent fathers, lack of male mentors in communities and substance abuse as an escape and comfort.

SANCA Rosettenville successfully hosted a Youth and Father’s Day Dialogue in the community of Chrisville recently.

The topic of discussion was absent fathers, lack of male mentors in communities and substance abuse as an escape and comfort.

The children were reminded to always respect their parents, the youth were reminded of life values and fathers were encouraged to love and care for their children and families.

The dialogues was emotional, thought-provoking and exciting, which clearly proved that discussions and social change dialogues are desperately needed in communities.

A special thanks to all sponsors that made this event extra special – Eskort Butchery Xavier Boulevard, Unilever, Victim Empowerment – Department of Social Welfare and Sport for Social Change Network Africa (SSCNA).
