WATCH: Foundation spruces up Olifantsvlei Primary School on Mandela Day
The foundation took it upon itself to paint the Olifantsvlei Grade R classrooms and fence in parts of the school.
ADOPT-a-School Foundation and its partners visited Olifantsvlei Primary School as part of Nelson Mandela Day on July 18 in Eikenhof.
The foundation took it upon itself to paint the Olifantsvlei Grade R classrooms and fence in parts of the school.
A number of celebrities joined in the foundation’s activities.
During its 67 minutes, the foundation and its partners also established a vegetable garden that will provide the learners with fresh food.

The sports section was revamped, and volunteers also took part in fixing the jungle gym and enhancing the school’s library.
Keri Francis, head of communications and fund-raising at Adopt-a-School Foundation, said they adopted the school in 2005.
