THE organisers of Fashion Meets Music would like to thank their partners for the programme which took place in Rosettenville Central Primary School hall on July 27.
Organiser Mathapelo Seoka said running an event on no budget was hard; however, working together they managed to have a successful event.
“We thank the school for giving us the hall to utilise on the day. We had a good first edition of Fashion Meets Music.
“We would also like to extend our invite to the youth as we are planning a Fashion Meets Music Colour Fest in October.

“We call our local municipality to support the creatives in the area. There has been a discussion with the team, and one of the biggest problems we have with the youth is lack of art in the area.
“The youth turns to clubs, drugs and streets because we don’t have art programmes to keep them busy, but we are about to change that. We have bonded with all youth creatives in the area. We want to have a local radio station and revive art in high schools,” she said.
