Man gets 15 years in prison for murder in Kenilworth

Booysens SAPS management wishes to thank Mashamaite and the members who assisted him in obtaining a successful conviction.

ON July 31, a man received 15 years’ direct imprisonment for murder in Kenilworth on February 2, 2018.

According to Booysens SAPS, police were still on the murder scene when a witness approached them and informed them about the suspect’s information.

Sgt Jacobs Mashamaite took the case and did his investigations which led to the suspect’s arrest on March 3, 2018.

The case was put on court roll which saw the accused getting a sentence of 15 years’ direct imprisonment.

Booysens communication officer Captain Lorraine van Emmerik said the management wishes to thank Mashamaite and the officers who assisted him in obtaining a successful conviction.
