According to the Secretary of the African National Congress (ANC) in Ward 23, Nomazwe Ntlokwana, I am here as part of the delegation of women from the seven Wards in Zone 11. We are at Moffat View SAPS to speak to members of the SAPS, to firstly know what is the progress with regards to cases which regards to gender-based violence.

We also want to use this platform and opportunity to say, there should be no parole for the perpetrators who are part of gender-based violence. There should be life sentence for all the perpetrators of those who have killed women and children. added Nomazwe Ntlokwana
As women of this country, we cannot sit down and fold our arms when we are dying of the hands of those we have loved. We cannot keep quite if our daughters are killed.
