SCORES of people attended The Curry and Craft Festival at Gold Reef City Casino Level 5 Parking on October 19.
It was a mixture of a mouth-watering curry cook-off, the best bunny chows and crafts on display. Danelle Coulson said this is one of many attractions that Gold Reef City is doing to showcase the best of Joburg South to the visitors and the locals.

Pervez Singh, who organised the event, said this type of event was limited to only food stalls and now there is a variety of activities.
“This is a now a family-oriented event where you will find food, cars on display, games, and beverages. All this in one space.

The curry cook-off allows interaction with the patrons. And after a great curry, there’s nothing that goes better than the craft beer which is on offer,” he said.
