LORENZO Bors, who is accused of raping and murdering Silindokuhle Kunene (18), has, yet again, seen his case postponed to November 20 after he appeared at Booysens Magistrate’s Court on November 11.
This comes after the 39-year-old allegedly raped and murdered Silindokuhle at her home in South Hills on March 6. Since then, the case has seen several postponements for different reasons.
This time, the case was postponed due to the absence of Bors’ attorney. The whereabouts of the attorney are unknown by the magistrate, the state and Bors.
The magistrate asked the gallery if Bors’ family was present and asked for one of them to the stand to give a clear indication about Bors’ representative.
The family member said as a family, they haven’t been in contact with Bors’ ‘supposed’ attorney. Therefore, the magistrate remanded the case for an attorney to be present as the matter is getting closer to a trial date.
Bors will remain in custody as he was not granted bail.
