JHB Flying Squad makes multiple arrests in one weekend

During the weekend three vehicles were recovered which are a white Isuzu KB250 Bakkie, white Mitsubishi SUV and a silver Mercedes Benz.

JOHANNESBURG Flying Squad’s hard work resulted in the arrests of 10 suspects during the weekend of December 6 to December 9.

Arrests included the following: possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition – three, possession of drugs – four, stolen and hijacked vehicles – four, possession of 12-Gauge shotgun with ammunition – one, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm – one and theft – one.

During the weekend three vehicles were recovered which are a white Isuzu KB250 Bakkie, white Mitsubishi SUV and a silver Mercedes Benz.

Raymond Sambo, Joburg Flying Squad’s communications officer, said the investigation in all the cases is ongoing and working with together with the community led to these recoveries.

“SAPS appreciates the public for their contribution. It should also be noted that any information regarding the vehicles, one may contact the relevant detective quoting the relevant case number,” said Sambo.
