Sue Lubbe and Friends go festive

“Thank you to everyone who has assisted us throughout this past year,” said Sue Lubbe.

WITH Christmas around the corner, Sue Lubbe and Friends have been playing Father Christmas and have recently been out and about visiting old age homes and handing out meat and groceries.

Recently Wimpy The Glen held a Christmas morning tea for seniors from Camelia and Jasmine houses. All the seniors and the staff from the houses received refreshments. Pick n Pay The Glen supplied the treats, including sandwiches and cakes.

“Thank you to everyone who has assisted us throughout this past year. We held our Stay Warm Day during the winter and did really well by feeding over 120 000 people. We also assisted Christway Ministries and Mossie Primary School in the winter drive. Thank you to Elize Baker for all your help.

“Thank you to our board members and our sponsors, and most of all, the people on the ground who were more than willing to help us achieve our targets,” added Sue.
