WATCH: Actor Vuvu surprises congregants

The Lawley-based church was having its normal service, but it all changed when the superstar entered.

The Power of God International Ministries received a surprise visit from Ernest ‘Vuvu’ Msibi who plays Amos on Uzalo on January 26.

The Lawley-based church was having its normal service, but it all changed when the superstar entered.

Some of the congregants were stunned while others were all smiles.

Congregants welcomed the actor with open arms and he was ushered to a front-row seat.

After the service Misibi was given the platform to share his life experience in the entertainment industry with the young people.

Msibi encouraged the young ones to never stop dreaming or pursuing what they want in life.

He said, “You should be like a fly because a fly does not die where it was born, which is in rubbish. It dies on chocolate cake.

“Your background shouldn’t deter you from being something in life. Fight to die in high places,” said Msibi.

He also encouraged the youngsters to respect their teachers at school and to honour their time at school.

“Sitting in the toilets and not going to class will kill your future. That is not the road to take if you want to be a better person tomorrow,’’ he said.

One of the youth members, Thando Kubheka, said having such people at church really motivates one to keep on pushing no matter the circumstances.

“I enjoyed listening to him. He was fun. He has a lot of jokes and what I like about him is that he is not shy,” said Kubheka.
