Covid-19: Councillor reaches out with donation

Councillor Faeeza Chame donated sanitisers in the fight against Covid-19 on March 25.

She handed over the donations to Moffat View SAPS and to some of the Ward 57 residents.

Chame said law enforcement officers have a huge task to keep people off the streets.

She told COURIER that some people are not taking the Covid-19 threat seriously.

“I’m pleading with our community to take this threat seriously and to remain indoors for their safety. Together we will overcome this crisis,” said Chame.
