A project to honour others
Every month they will be honouring an individual or organisation which uplifts the community in one way or another.

Chantelle Habib and councillor Malcolm Maifala from Ward 38 will be launching an initiative which seeks to honour community members or organisations in Brackenhurst and Brackendowns.
They are specifically looking for people and organisations who played their part in championing the needs of those less fortunate.
“As from July 1, individuals will be welcome to nominate organisations or individuals who work to uplift others. The people who they nominate should be doing work in the area or surrounding areas,” said Maifala.
“What constitutes the champions we are looking for includes people who do charity work such as feeding schemes, dignity projects, and many others. In partnering with Habibi Properties, I look forward to honouring those who do selfless work for the better of our community.”
Every month they will be honouring an individual or organisation which uplifts the community in one way or another.
This will be individuals nominated and recognised by the community at large.
