National Paramedical Services needs a new ambulance
Your small change and any other donations are most welcome.
National Paramedical Services (NPS) is hosting a Small Change Drive to raise funds to buy a new and much-needed ambulance.
They have been operating in the Alberton area for the last six years and have always gone out of their way to serve the community.
“In the past six years, we have attended to the community in their darkest hour. Now our darkest hour has arrived as we require a new ambulance,” said Chantal Peel from NPS.
According to Peel, their ambulances have been operating 24/7, 365 days and only took a break when the crew settled down for a coffee break in between emergencies.“We have attended to many motor vehicle accidents, house calls and inter-hospital transfers. We have transported the young and the old, the weak and the strong, the ones who could talk and sadly the ones who could not,” said Peel.
To kick-start their Small Change Drive, they are looking for your five, 10, 20, 50 cent and R1 coins. “With this fund-raiser, we are hoping to collect enough to buy a new ambulance.”
Peel said any other donations are also welcome. The crew members from NPS also want to thank those who already donated.
