Teenagers generously serve the community with breakfast

Brackendowns teenagers used their pocket money to serve people with sandwiches and muffins on August 7.

In an aim to make a difference, Brackendowns teenagers used their pocket money to serve people with sandwiches and muffins on August 7.

Ethan Ramsaru (13) and Michaela Basson (15) handed out 58 sandwiches and more than 60 muffins on a cold Friday morning.

Their outreach started off from Brackenhurst Clinic and from there they moved to Alrode.

The sandwiches and muffins were gladly received and appreciated by job seekers and some municipal workers who were found cleaning the roads.

The pair plans to soon reach out again to the community.
