Local model wants to leave great footprints
Valensia's passion for modelling arises from early childhood.
Model Valensia Waibale, who lives in Rosettenville, has opened VW Models Academy and Grooming School where she wants to take four to 18-year-olds to another level of stardom.
She is a mother, sister, a motivational speaker, MC, entrepreneur, model, author, blogger, brand influencer, photographer, aspiring television presenter, and actress.
Her passion for modelling arises from early childhood. Having entered various beauty pageants and won numerous titles, she was often called the “Model of Pabalello”, a place where she was born.
“In 2015 I was placed top 100 semi-finalists of the Mrs. South Africa pageant, and was crowned as Ms South Africa national second princess.
“To rise like a shining star I became Sarie Voorbladgesig Top 10 finalist, a memory I will forever cherish in my heart. I became a brand ambassador for Biomedical Emporium during 2017 year.
“The school offers general grooming, confidence building, public speaking, interview skills, ramp work, photoshoot coaching, general industry knowledge, etiquette, general and personal hygiene, wardrobe planning and organising, pageant coaching and preparation,” explained Valensia.
