Help raise funds for Elandspark’s little dancer

Her mother, Michelle Coetzer, said Madison made it to Team South Africa and is now going to WCOPA in the USA.

Little dancer Madison Carter (6) from Elandspark needs to raise funds to represent South Africa at the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in the USA.

She started dancing in August 2019. Her first competition was the Cat Whiskers Competition in September 2019 where she did a contemporary dance solo and she placed first and qualified to go to the South African Championships of Performing Arts.

Some of her achievements:

• Contemporary solo (age five to seven), gold.

• Hip-hop solo (age five to seven), silver (first hip-hop dance she had ever done).

• Lyrical solo (age five to seven), silver (first lyrical dance she had ever done).

Her mother, Michelle Coetzer, said Madison made it to Team South Africa and is now going to WCOPA in the USA.

“She has a deep passion for dancing as she lives and breathes dancing. She dances every day at home, in the car and sometimes in shops.

“To all who may read this article, please open your hearts and donate/sponsor towards getting Madison to the WCOPA. Dancing is her passion and dreams of attending the WCOPA in the USA; she even says she hopes she gets to meet Justin Bieber and Billie Eilish,” she said.
