The year started off with a bang for Uncle Baboo and his trusted crew members who dedicate their weekends and spare time to feed the hungry.

In vehicles laden with hearty, delicious Indian dishes such as dheg dhal and chicken akni, Uncle Baboo and Crew recently made their way across Gauteng to feed the needy. Areas such as Glenesk, Klein Dorpies, Turffontein, South Hills Flats, Moffat View Retirement Flats and The Hill benefited from his culinary skills and expressed their gratitude for the meals provided.

This past weekend they were serving up a storm in Riverlea, fresh from the dheg and into hungry tummies. Uncle Baboo has also been cooking for Covid-19 positive patients in quarantine and at funerals of people who died from Covid-19 with the aim to bring comfort through his cuisine.
