
Johannesburg Flying Squad members arrested 10 suspects for different crimes in different areas in Johannesburg and recovered two vehicles from May 28 to May 30.
Among the 10 suspects arrested, three were for attempted hijacking, four for possession of stolen property, one for possession of a stolen vehicle and two for possession of drugs.
A white Toyota Fortuner and a white Nissan NP200 were recovered stolen.
Johannesburg Flying Squad communication officer, Raymond Sambo said investigation continues in all cases.
“Working together with the community led to these recoveries. SAPS appreciates the public for their contribution. It should also be noted that for any information regarding the vehicles, people may contact the relevant detective quoting the relevant case number.
“The 10 suspects appeared in different magistrate’s courts facing charges of attempted hijacking, possession of stolen property, possession of stolen vehicle and possession of drugs,” he said.
