Allies were very excited about Jo Black’s visit at their school

Singer Jo Black visited Hoërskool Alberton on August 17.

Jo Black, Afrikaans singer, songwriter and motivational speaker, visited Hoërskool Alberton on August 17 to talk about his campaign and to promote his new app.

He spoke about his Be That Guy/Girl campaign, which he is very passionate about.

Be That Guy/Girl seeks to promote respect, honour, integrity, leadership, positivity and building each other up among the youth toward their peers.

He also spoke about his app, Heroes Anonymous, where a child who is a victim of bullying can seek help via the app.

The child will be anonymous on the app, but the school will know who it is. The school be informed that there are children being bullied and the child will get help.

Learners were super excited to meet Jo and took a lot of things Jo spoke about home with them.

Principal Dr Jorrie Jordaan thanked Jo for his visit and very inspiring speech.
