
Johannesburg Flying Squad members arrested two suspects for different crimes in different areas in Johannesburg and recovered four vehicles from February 4 to 7.
One was arrested for shoplifting and the second for possession of drugs.
A white Isuzu truck, white Toyota Aygo and a gold Kia Picanto, which were hijacked from the owners, were recovered and a stolen white NP200 was recovered.
Johannesburg Flying Squad communications officer SPO Raymond Sambo said investigation continues in all cases and working together with the community led to these recoveries.
“SAPS appreciates the public for its contribution. It should also be noted that with any information regarding the vehicles, people may contact the relevant detective quoting the relevant case number.
“The two suspects appeared in different magistrate’s courts, facing charges of shoplifting and possession of drugs,” he said.
