Owners of liquor outlets and second hand dealerships need to to comply with the regulations.

Members from the Booysens Firearm Licences and Second Hand Dealers (FLASH) office with the newly appointed commander Capt Mpho Mazibuko conducted spot inspections at four liquor outlets and second-hand dealers in the Turffontein and Kenilworth on March 2.

Liquor licences, as well as trading certificates, were inspected to ensure they were up to date and correct.

Social Crime Prevention led by Sgt Michelle Chinsamy, along with the Youth Desk, joined the members to educate the community on prevention tips and substance abuse.
