Do charity work with Alberton SPCA

Alberton SPCA direly needs volunteers and welcomes members of the public to assist with some of the daily tasks.
There are several volunteering opportunities available to the community.

Alberton SPCA oversees the protection and care of abandoned animals, works towards eliminating animal cruelty and raises animal welfare awareness.

GM Charmain Southon said they have open vacancies for volunteers and would appreciate any kind of help from the public.

“Volunteers rarely have the time; they only have the desire to help. But we ask those with the desire and the time to come forward and assist,” said Southon.

Requirements for volunteering include:

• Be 16 years and older

• Police clearance certificate

• Be fluent in English

• Able to donate time
