Crime awareness campaigns held
More than 150 informative pamphlets were given to the community.
Members from Booysens SAPS Social Crime Prevention (Sgt Michelle Chinsamy) and sector managers (Sgt Phillip Tinyane and Const Collins Mtarini) hosted a crime awareness campaign at Ridgeway Shopping Complex and in Tramway Street on March 31.
Pamphlets were handed out and members of the community were addressed on business robberies, prevention of kidnapping, gender-based violence and other crimes.

Chinsamy also spoke to Grade R and Grade RR learners at Pickini Nursery about ‘stranger danger’ and warned the learners to always report anything strange to their teachers.
