Successful fundraiser event for Mondeor Meteors Football Club
The club plays in the Southern Local Football Association league which is affiliated to SAFA.
Mondeor Meteors Football Club (MMFC) held their successful fundraiser event at the club grounds in Daylesford Road, Mondeor, on May 28.
The day’s festivities included food stalls, a beer garden as well as a night walk.
On the football front, the EUFA Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid was shown on a big screen. The club league matches were also played on the day.
The club’s vice-chairman, Clifford Alexander, thanked all who supported the fundraiser as it was a great success.
“The little ones enjoyed themselves on the jumping castle. The food and snacks were delicious, the beer garden was cool with great music, and a play-station room was set up for the bigger kids.
“We also had live commentary by one of our boys for the seniors’ afternoon game. The day ended with a great vibe watching the champion’s league final,” he said.
