Meals served to the community of Riverlea

Uncle Baboo and Crew collaborated with Ward 55 Clr Rashida Landis to serve meals to the community on June 11.

Uncle Baboo said they visited the home of the deceased boy in Riverlea. “We cooked one dheg of beef akhni, packaged it in punnets and distributed it to all those at the funeral house.

“Another dheg of beef akhni, together with chips and cold drinks were distributed to the residents of Riverlea. Both adults and children alike were grateful and happy for the fresh, hot meal.

“A special thank you to Landis, all sponsors, volunteers and the residents of the recreation centre for assisting us,” he said.
