Help our Alberton Coenie bring home the MMA world’s championship title
Provincial MMA's champion twice in a row asks for help with donations, sponsorship or funds to the community in order for him to represent the country in Abu Dhabi.
Coenie Lamprecht (15) is set to represent South Africa in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in Abu Dhabi from August 15 to 21.
Lamprecht from Alberton North is doing MMA at Valhalla Gym and Fitness Centre to cultivate his skills for the sport.
The young star and his family are pleading to anyone who can help with the donations, sponsorship or funds for this young man to live his dreams and head to the world championships.
According to Lamprecht, he decided to do the sport on daily basis because of the passion and love he felt whenever he was at the gym.
“I am dedicated to the sport. This is why I put so much time in at the gym and ensure that whenever I am at the gym I do not lose a minute, I will never stop for anything,” said the aspiring star.
He is the South African champion, and it is the second consecutive year that he took the honours of the champion.
Iriana, his mother, said she would like to see her son go to Abu Dhabi to represent the country, but most importantly to see him live his dreams and make the most out of this sport.
The estimated costs for accommodation and flight is R25 000.
“South Africans, I can only bring the world’s championship title through your help,” Coenie concluded.
