The Ward 57 Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex and Queer (LGBTIQ+) community took to the streets of Joburg South to march against the discrimination, rape and killing of them.

The LGBTIQ+ community say we should all be equal as human beings.

“As human beings, we all have equal rights to be respected. lets all protect each other against discrimination”

Along with the community is Ward 57 councillor Faeeza Chame.

“We are all here to support the cause,” said Chame.

The community started the march at Moffat View SAPS up Outspan Road and they will turn on Delmas Street back to the police station
