City of Johannesburg by-law enforcement members cut illegal electricity cables at De Villiers Street in Turffontein.

Ward 55 councillor Rashieda Landis and law enforcement agencies are enforcing by-laws by cutting illegal electricity connections where meters were blocked and connected illegally.

Citations were given by the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department on trucks parked illegally.

Building and environmental inspectors are also present. Other stakeholders present include City Power, Joburg Water, CRUM, Pikitup and JRA.
